# Order mode (Germany and France)

> In countries that require a certified till, KwikEat works as an order system next to your own till: no payments, order slips instead of till receipts.

In **Germany** and **France** a till must be certified (Germany: TSE; France: NF525). KwikEat Desktop is not. If your shop is in one of those countries, KwikEat works as an **order system** next to your own certified till:

- **No payments.** There is no payment choice when taking an order, and no *Pay* on the order board. An unpaid order shows **At the till**. Only orders paid online in the web shop count as paid.
- **Order slips.** Every slip says at the top *BESTELLBELEG – KEIN KASSENBELEG* or *BON DE COMMANDE – PAS UN TICKET DE CAISSE*.
- **No cash count.** [End of day](https://kwikeat.com/manual/dagafsluiting) shows the totals as an *order overview, not fiscal*. You count the cash in your own till.

At the first start you confirm once that KwikEat is not your till, and that you record every sale in your own till. Without that confirmation KwikEat doesn't start. The confirmation goes into the [journal](https://kwikeat.com/manual/orderjournaal).

The shop's country is set in Settings → Shop → Address. In the Netherlands, Belgium and the US KwikEat works as a normal till.
