# Deals and availability

> An offer only on Mondays, only for collection or only at lunchtime: with Available you decide when a product can be ordered.

In KwikEat a **deal** is simply a product, usually a [combination](https://kwikeat.com/manual/menu-combinaties), that can only be ordered at certain moments. You set that with **Available**. It works for **every** product: also a lunch sandwich sold only until 2 pm, or a dish you don't deliver.

## Setting availability

Choose the product in the menu. Under **Available** there are four rows. What you don't switch on doesn't limit anything; with nothing on, the product can **always** be ordered.

| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Days** | The days of the week: Mon to Sun |
| **Weeks of month** | Week 1 = the 1st to the 7th, week 2 = the 8th to the 14th, and so on; **last week** = the last 7 days of the month |
| **Orders** | collect, delivery, eat in |
| **From / Until** | A time slot, e.g. 11:00 until 14:00. If *until* is before *from*, it runs past midnight: 22:00 until 02:00. |

The rows work together. **Monday** + **week 1** is *every first Monday of the month*. **Friday** + **Saturday** + **delivery** + **17:00 until 21:00** is *on Friday and Saturday evenings, for delivery only*.

## Which moment counts

The moment that counts is the order's **collection or delivery time**, not when it was ordered:

- Someone who orders on Wednesday evening for Thursday gets the Thursday deal.
- Someone who orders on Thursday at 23:50 for Friday does not.

The order screen and the web shop only show the products that are available at that moment and for that kind of order. A product that isn't available also disappears from the slots of combinations.

An order that has been placed is not checked again: a Thursday deal can still be set to *Ready* on Friday.

## Deals without a combination

Not every offer needs to be a combination:

- **Dish of the day**: an ordinary product with a fixed price, available on Tuesdays only.
- **Lunch sandwich**: an ordinary product, available from 11:00 until 14:00.
- **Collection only**: e.g. a big family ice cream cake you don't deliver: orders *collect*.

## What isn't possible (yet)

- **Recognising deals by itself.** KwikEat only prices a deal when the deal itself is ordered. If someone orders three separate pizzas on a Monday, those are three separate pizzas. At the counter, choose the deal.
- **A discount code or a discount on the whole order.** A deal is always a product on the menu.
