> Step by step: 2 sandwiches and a drink for € 10, every Monday 3 pizzas for the price of 2, Double Dutch, the pizza meal, the lunch deal and more.

These are complete examples, set up so you can follow along. The prices come from the sample menu KwikEat creates for a new shop:

| Group | Products | Options of the group |
|---|---|---|
| Pizza | Margherita € 9.50 · Salami € 11.00 · Tonno € 12.00 · Quattro formaggi € 12.50 | *Size*: Small · Medium + € 2.00 · Large + € 4.00; *Crust*: Classic · Thin · Stuffed + € 1.50 |

:::tip
First make a group **Deals** (code e.g. `DEAL`) without group options. All combinations and deals go in there; that way they sit together on the order screen and in the web shop.

## Every Monday 3 pizzas for the price of 2

:::example
**Product** *Monday: 3 pizzas, pay 2* in group Deals, code `M32`, price **€ 0.00**.

**Combination**, Price: **The dearest choices are paid, the cheapest are free**, **Paid: 2** (*of 3: the cheapest 1 free*).

| Slot | Number | To choose from |
|---|---|---|
| Pizza | 3 | All of Pizza |

**Available**: Days **Mon**. Collection only? Under Orders switch on **collect** only.
:::

The customer picks Margherita, Salami and Quattro formaggi. They pay the two dearest: € 12.50 + € 11.00 = **€ 23.50**; the margherita is free. If they want the margherita large, + € 4.00 is added (even on the free pizza): **€ 27.50**.

The product's price (€ 0.00) is added as a surcharge. Put e.g. € 1.00 there if the deal should be a little less generous.

**Variations**

- *Every Thursday 2nd pizza free*: slot Pizza number **2**, **Paid: 1**, Available **Thu**.
- *Every 1st Monday of the month 3 pizzas for 2, for collection*: as above, Available **Mon** + **week 1** + **collect**.

## Double Dutch: 1 pizza with 2 flavours

One pizza, one half for instance margherita and the other quattro formaggi. There are two ways; which fits best depends on your pizzas.

### Way 1: as a combination, for the price of the dearer half

Fits when your pizzas have **no *Size* option with a charge** (e.g. one size, or sizes as separate products).

:::example
**Product** *Double Dutch* in group Deals, code `DD`, price **€ 0.00** (or € 1.00 surcharge for the work).

**Combination**, Price: **The dearest choices are paid, the cheapest are free**, **Paid: 1**.

| Slot | Number | To choose from |
|---|---|---|
| Half 1 | 1 | All of Pizza |
| Half 2 | 1 | All of Pizza |
:::

Margherita + quattro formaggi = **€ 12.50**, the price of the dearer half. The kitchen ticket shows both halves under *Double Dutch*. Note: in the reports each half counts as a pizza.

:::warning
If your pizzas have a *Size* option (on the group), KwikEat asks the size **per half**, and the charge also counts per half: *Large* twice is + € 8.00. Then use way 2.
:::

[![Double Dutch as a combination](https://kwikeat.com/images/manual/en/menu-double-dutch.png)](https://kwikeat.com/images/manual/en/menu-double-dutch.png)

### Way 2: with options, for the average price

Always fits, also with sizes: the size is asked once.

:::example
**Product** *Double Dutch* in group **Pizza**, code `DD`, price **€ 9.50** (the cheapest pizza). It gets *Size* from the group by itself.

**This product**, two options, both **Choose one** and **Required**:

| Option | Choices and extra charge |
|---|---|
| First half | Margherita € 0.00 · Salami + € 0.75 · Tonno + € 1.25 · Quattro formaggi + € 1.50 |
| Second half | Margherita € 0.00 · Salami + € 0.75 · Tonno + € 1.25 · Quattro formaggi + € 1.50 |
:::

A flavour's extra charge is **half** the difference with the cheapest pizza (quattro formaggi: (€ 12.50 − € 9.50) / 2 = € 1.50). The customer then pays exactly the average of both pizzas: margherita + quattro formaggi = € 9.50 + € 1.50 = **€ 11.00**, large **€ 15.00**.

Prefer the price of the dearer half? Then use the **whole** difference as the charge, and set all charges of the *Second half* to € 0.00. Customers then usually pick the dearer one as the first half; the crew can do so at the counter.

## Pizza meal: 2 pizzas and 2 soft drinks for € 24.95

:::example
**Product** *Pizza meal* in group Deals, code `PM`, price **€ 24.95**, Price: **The product's price (plus extra charges)**.

| Slot | Number | To choose from |
|---|---|---|
| Pizza | 2 | All of Pizza · Calzone + € 1.50 |
| Soft drink | 2 | Sparkling water · Cola |
:::

Two colas are fine: the same choice more than once. Each pizza keeps its own options: one can get extra cheese and the other not. Beer isn't offered, because only single products were added under *Soft drink*.

## Lunch deal: sandwich and drink, weekdays until 2 pm

:::example
**Product** *Lunch deal* in group Deals, price **€ 7.50**, fixed price.

| Slot | Number | To choose from |
|---|---|---|
| Sandwich | 1 | All of Sandwiches |
| Drink | 1 | Sparkling water · Cola |

**Available**: Days **Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri**, From **11:00** Until **14:00**.
:::

The moment that counts is the collection or delivery time: someone who orders at 10:30 for 12:00 gets the lunch deal; someone who orders at 13:30 for 15:00 does not.

## Platter with fries or rice and a soft drink

Two ways, depending on whether the side is also on the menu by itself:

- **As an option** (simple): product *Chicken platter* € 14.50 with the option *Side* (Choose one, required): Fries · Rice · Mixed salad. Rice then doesn't have to be on the menu.
- **As a combination** (if you want the fries with their own sauce option): product *Chicken platter meal* € 16.50, slots *Side* ×1 (Fries · Mixed salad) and *Soft drink* ×1 (Sparkling water · Cola). With the fries the customer then also picks the sauce, with its charge.

## Kids box

:::example
**Product** *Kids box* in group Deals, price **€ 7.95**, fixed price.

| Slot | Number | To choose from |
|---|---|---|
| Snack | 1 | Chicken nuggets · Frikandel |
| Side | 1 | Fries |
| Drink | 1 | Apple juice · Cola |
:::

A slot with only one product (here *Fries*) is handy to get that product on the receipt and in the reports, with its own options (sauce).

## Kids' portion in percent

Not a combination, but a popular discount: give the Pasta group the option *Portion* (Choose one, required, **Price in %**) with Regular 0 and Kids **-25**. See [Options and choices](https://kwikeat.com/manual/menu-keuzes#extra-charge-in-percent).
