# People and roles

> Who works for your shop, and what they may do: owner, manager, crew or courier. Adding someone by e-mail address.

In KwikEat Merchant everyone has an account of their own. Per shop you decide who works there and with which **role**. There is no PIN as in KwikEat Desktop: what someone may do belongs to their account.

## The roles

| Role | May |
|---|---|
| **Courier** | Sees the deliveries and sets them to *On the way* or *Delivered*. On the phone. |
| **Crew** | Handles the online orders: moving them on, changing, cancelling, and looking up customers |
| **Manager** | As crew, plus the menu, the reports and End of day |
| **Owner** | Everything, including settings, online payments and who works there. An owner can make others owner too. |

## Adding someone

Go to **Settings** → **Links & security** → **People**. Enter the **e-mail address**, choose the role and tap **Add**.

- If they already have an account with that address, they can start at once.
- If not, they get an **invitation** by e-mail to create an account with that address. Until then they are listed as *Invited*.

Change the role or remove someone in the same list. Someone who works at several shops chooses the shop after logging in.
