KwikEat
What is KwikEat?
KwikEat is software for take-away and delivery restaurants: KwikEat Desktop is the POS on your own Windows PC, KwikEat Online is your own online ordering and its management in the browser. They work separately and together; together you pay less commission.
Is KwikEat a platform like Just Eat Takeaway or Uber Eats?
No. KwikEat is software for your restaurant, not a marketplace: the customers ordering from you are your customers, with their e-mail addresses and order history in your own management, and you don't hand a large part of your turnover to a platform.
May I sell my food cheaper elsewhere?
Yes. With KwikEat you set your own prices, and what you charge elsewhere, at the market, at the counter or on another platform, doesn't matter to KwikEat. Some platforms ask that you offer your food nowhere cheaper than with them; KwikEat has no such condition: it is your shop, with your prices, your customers and your profit.
Which restaurants is KwikEat for?
KwikEat is made for take-away and delivery: pizzerias, snack bars, kebab and shawarma shops, Chinese and Indian take-aways, sandwich shops and the like. It knows menus with choices (size, crust, sauce), combinations such as a pizza menu or a half-and-half pizza, delivery areas and kitchen tickets.

What does KwikEat Online cost?
KwikEat Online has three tiers. Start: €0 a month and 5% per online payment; Pro: €59 a month and 1% per online payment; Unlimited: €119 a month and 0% per online payment. Prices exclude VAT. Stripe's payment fees are paid by the restaurant directly to Stripe.
Is there a discount with KwikEat Desktop?
Yes: with a valid paid KwikEat Desktop licence the commission in Start is 3.5% instead of 5%.
What does KwikEat Desktop cost?
KwikEat Desktop is a yearly subscription of €399 excluding VAT. Renew within two months before or after the end of your licence and you pay €219.45 (45% off). You can try it free of charge for 14 days.
Are there setup costs or a long contract?
No setup costs. KwikEat Online Start has no monthly price; Pro and Unlimited are monthly subscriptions. KwikEat Desktop is a yearly licence.
Online payments
How do online payments work?
Online payments go through Stripe, straight to the restaurant's own Stripe account: iDEAL in the Netherlands, Bancontact in Belgium, cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Stripe pays the money out to your bank account; KwikEat's commission is kept automatically per payment.
Can I refund an online order?
Yes: cancel an order paid online in KwikEat Merchant and what was paid goes back to the customer through Stripe, with KwikEat's commission on it in proportion. The cancellation keeps its reason and stays in the order journal.
Who pays the payment fees?
The restaurant pays Stripe's fees directly to Stripe, on top of KwikEat's commission. KwikEat's commission is not a payment fee: it is the price of KwikEat Online Start and Pro.
KwikEat Desktop
Does KwikEat Desktop work without internet?
Yes. KwikEat Desktop runs on your own Windows PC with its own database: taking orders, printing, packing and closing the day all work offline. Online orders come in when there is a connection.
I use AnyOrder. Can I switch?
Yes. KwikEat Desktop is AnyOrder's successor: it imports your AnyOrder customers and menu, and with your AnyOrder licence you switch at an upgrade price.
